What Products Require White Glove Service?

Products that require white glove service are those that cannot be easily dropped off at the doorstep. Refrigerators, large household Items, large household appliances, furniture, and expensive electronics are examples. These are products that could be damaged or severely costly if not handled with the utmost care and attention during delivery. Furniture can easily snag and tear on the slightest hook in a doorway, and shippers need to consider using white glove logistics to deliver on the promise of providing exactly what a consumer wants. As a result, shippers should set realistic expectations.

When using any of the available specialized services through TranMazon, such as big delivery, you receive VIP treatment. Our Virtual Branch Partner will identify your specific needs and requirements to move your goods. They will arrange multi-person inside pickup and delivery. Packaging of your item is scheduled to be completed to best protect your item. The services will use the best practices and materials for handling your shipment. They will ensure your item arrives in the same condition it was picked up.

Specialty equipment such as padded vans and blanket wrap services can also be provided to shippers. Lift gates are available when needed at both ends of the process. All equipment required for transporting your shipment can be added as an accessorial at the time of quote or by telling your Virtual Branch Partner.

Service Level I: Through The Threshold

Includes 15 Minutes on-site, set inside first (1st) dry door, no assembly or debris removal.

Service Level II: Room of Choice

Includes 15 minutes on-site, inside delivery to room of choice, no unpacking, no assembly and no debris removal.

Service Level III: Room of Choice w/Unpack and Debris Removal

Includes 20 minutes on-site, inside delivery to room of choice, unpacking and debris removal.

Service Level IV: White Glove w/Light Assembly

Includes 30 minutes on-site, inside delivery to room of choice, unpacking, minor assembly (15 minutes or less with screwdriver and a few screws), and debris removal.

​Important Note: Transit times for quotes are only for the LTL portion of the shipment. Final mile transit times are not included as it can only be determined once the white glove agent has made an appointment with the consignee. Scheduled delivery appointments will be available in the shipment notes and status once it has been made.
